ATL2LAS Posted November 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted November 25, 2013 Just drove in from Jax from a 4 night Nassau/Freeport cruise on the Carnival Fascination. There were some very pleasant surprises. Drinks on Me card now earned after just 1000 points. The dinner menu has not changed as of yet. I still like the everyday side. I saw more bathrobes everywhere. It became a game. How many this morning??:D The crew was outstanding as usual. We got a few extra hours due to really rough weather coming back. Pier side at 9:30 AM. You have to keep your sign and sail card in the slot machine. Much easier to get tracked at the slots than at table games. Actually on slots, you earn 1 point for every $2.50 put at risk (your money or their). gio1967 Posted December 29, 2013 #16 Share Posted December 29, 2013 I earned my 1,000 pts on Day 1 of cruise by putting room key in the slot machines. I put $100.00 in a machine and kept going up and down with that same $100 for a couple hours and earned the Free Drinks. However, you sometimes have to wait FOREVER before a cocktail person comes by so you can get a free drink. Also, you ONLY get to drink free while inside casino, it does not work anyplace else on the ship. Overall the Crew and service on this ship was great. However, the food was sub-par at best. It was my 1st Carnival cruise and I am not sure I would ever sail with them again based on the bad food. The shows were "Divas" and a Motown Review on the 1st night. They repeated the Diva show on the last night of the cruise. I was disappointed that they would repeat a show on a four day cruise. Lot's of drunk idiots on this cruise and bad behavior by adults.
