Cool!

Now when we step off "The grandest, biggest, greatest ship ever built" we'll be enjoying views of vacant lots, slums, burned-out cars, etc.....

To think Carnival would at least WAIT til there was an inkling of redevelopment in that area, but that's asking too much from the brain trust that handles these issues over in Miami.

Sometimes I think Arison and his flunkies have no idea what they're getting themselves into by doing this. But, they seem to be willing to take the chance of disappointing thier clientele

by dropping them them off in a blighted part of Brooklyn.

But, we don't run the company .... might as well wait for the angry letters that pile up after the Cunard ships start using that pier.

The QM2 and QE2 do not belong in Brooklyn.

Period.

Sad indeed.

Why doesn't Arison and cronies dock Carnival Line ships there instead?

Just great. I get to spend six days at sea forgetting about my role as a prosecutor, only to be dropped off in the middle of a part of "greater" New York that dearly needs prosecutors. Another brilliant move by the idiot-not-so-savants at Princess/Carnival.
