I've booked Carnival Inspiration for next month and I have a 11 month old baby.

 

Is it true that Carnival does not allow diapers or swim diapers in their pools?

 

Plz. let me know if anyone know about this ~!

It's true. Some people bring tiny inflatable pools for their kids.

Yes it is true they do not allow babies in the pools.It is also true,from what I saw on my cruise,that they do not enforce their own rules.

Children (and adults!) must be toilet trained. Some ships have water park areas an 11 month old could splash about in.

It's true but my babies always enjoy the water area where the water sprays up at them...

Although, young children should have someplace to enjoy the water, "Swimmies" DO leak. A "Swimmie" leaking feces has the potential to give the whole ship norovirus. This is why children are not allowed in the pool with a diaper or swim diaper.

I sincerely hope they don't. Sorry but swimming in a pool partially contaminated with urine just isn't on no matter how bonny the baby.

Non potty-trained babies aren't supposed to be in tge splash areas either. So please don't do it.

Always a hot topic, but babies are not allowed. Anyone using the pools must be potty trained and no "swim diapers" allowed.................sorry!

Saw it first hand on the Pride. Rule was not enforced and a "swimmy" leaked. (think pool scene in Caddyshack) Anyway, the pool had to be closed, drained, cleaned, and refilled. This took about 2 hrs.

Nope. And they don't allow anyone that can't control their outputs in either.

 

Nor would you want your 11 month old ingesting anything disgusting at that age either.

My take is the pools and tubs are little more than Petrie dishes and that's without letting little one in

Would never go in , let alone an 11 mouth old

Use the showers to cool off
