Conquest thanksgiving

Just a few items both bad and good.

This was our first cruise on a ship of this size.

The ship was not crowded plenty of room for everybody. This was our ninth cruise with Carnival. We did not like the 2.0 upgrades. Please bring back the production shows. Because canned music and videos do not make it. We only ate in the MDR on the first night. The service was just ok, too many tables for the servers and it hurts service. Did Guys four times it was ok 2out of 4 times. It should stay open for dinner it closes at 6pm. The deli and buffet were also ok. The new pizza is not that great, it is like frozen pizza from the supermarket. Also it seemed like they were only making one at a time there was always a line. Room service was just ok. Do not order grilled cheese. The cheese was still cold and not melted. The room was cold and we could not get it to warm up. The steward was good but again too many rooms they really have time to go above and beyond. We had FTTF we got right on the boat after we finally got the car parked it took over an hour after we arrived at the port. The parking lot was a zoo with very little direction. Next time we will fly into MIA.

Over all the crew was friendly. The adult comedy was good. Three was some thing to do for everybody. My DW donated to the casino. We missed Nassau due to weather the other ports were good and the weather was great. Over all it was a good week vacation.

Loved the four cheese pizza with goat cheese! There was always a line because the pizzas are not very big.

Was on the same. Pretty much mirror your comments. We did eat in the MDR every night and caught several comedy shows. Didn't care for the Lady but "Pat" was great. The two earlier in the week focused on bathroom humor and it got old.

 

Loved te Government Shutdown band. Weater sucked,

I got sick once even with meds. Was bummed about Nassau but no big loss I hear.

 

All in all it was less memorable but still enjoyable.
