Christmas on Freedom

My family and I decided on christmas eve last year we'd go on a cruise next christmas. Needless to say, it's been a looong year :)

Obviously I've seen the pictures of the christmas tree, and I've read about santa claus' visit, but can someone tell me anything else to satisfy our curiosity? :) Special menus, entertainment etc.

Also read some while ago they stopped doing the towel animals. Was this permanent, or are they back in action?

Thank you :)

Regarding the towel animals, we still get them, though not every night.

We were on FOS in November and had them (towel animals) two of the seven nights.

The Christmas tree went up during our sailing right outside our window.

We were on in August, got one every night.

But we had kids with us, so I think our steward knew how much we would appreciate them, we also always used the towel so they never "went to waste"

Happy Holidays on a lovely ship!!

We also had kids (11 & 7) but I only recall getting frog and elephant towels during the trip.

The tree went up at out port stop St Thomas. They had it done by the time we reboarded. I think the top of the tree was actually higher than our room (deck 6, promenade view over the pizza place)
