Holiday Inn, South Beach

Has anyone stayed at this hotel recently? I can't find any threads on this hotel and we booked it for pre and post cruise in Dec. Any help would be appreciated.:confused:

The 355-room Holiday Inn South Beach -- and the bargain ocean views that come with it -- is scheduled for demolition by the end of the year to make way for a W resort, where rooms will likely top $400 a night.

We stayed at the HOliday Inn in March 2003. It's a fantastic location but the hotel I felt was in need of some updating...like many of the SB hotels unless you want to spend $300 per night.l With our rate included two chairs, towels and umbrellas which was nice. Did this post-cruise and it was wonderful. SB area is very expensive and am sure it will be even more expensive when the new hotel is built.

I stayed there in Jan 04. Great Hotel. I'm pretty sure I posted a review on tripadvisor.
