4evercruiser Posted December 22, 2013 #101 Share Posted December 22, 2013 I am so sorry for your loss. We went through the same thing last year with our cat, Stormy. He went into renal failure and we had to put him down. I was devastated. My prayers are with you.

bionicman97 Posted May 22, 2014 Author #104 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Did you think I would ever finish this review? This may hold the record for longest pause during a review ;) First off, I’d like to thank everyone again for your thoughts and well wishes after the loss of Dory. It’s been a little over 5 months since Dory passed away. Time definitely does help, but it’s weird too. Sometimes it feels like forever since it happened, and sometimes I still think I hear the jingling of her collar (which had a distinctively different sound than Nemo’s). I’ve tried to come back several times to finish this review. Of course I left off the reviewwith those last few pictures of Dory. Usually I would look them over and then decide to try again later. But later has come and I’m not a person to leave something incomplete. So on we will go. It’s been quite a few months since we were actually on the cruise. Fortunately, I take extremely detailed notes and had a few pictures from the cruise, so I think I can manage ok. To expedite this, I have already completely written the review with image links in word. So now it's a massive copy/paste job. Hope you enjoy the rest! bionicman97 Posted May 22, 2014 Author #105 Share Posted May 22, 2014 After we finished up with lunch, it was time to do a little exploring and get Keith to one of his favorite places on the ship, the Fisher Price playroom. Dad and Keith got a little ahead of me, because I was getting my camera out. The first place we came up to was the pool The opposite side While I was taking a picture of the kids area, my dad and Keith stopped and went to a chair. I look over and my dad is taking Keith’s shirt off. The following dialog ensues: Me: Why are you taking his shirt off? Dad: He asked me to. I guess he’s hot. Me: He’s not hot. He thinks you are going to put him in the pool This kid doesn’t waste any time. I put his shirt back on and we continued our tour. Next up, we passed by regular pool area. It looked really nice Next up – Quick trip through the Solarium Bistro
bionicman97 Posted May 22, 2014 Author #106 Share Posted May 22, 2014 The next place we passed through was the Solarium Bistro. I had had plenty of food at the Windjammer and figured I could at least go 30 minutes without eating, so we just passed through. Next up – Keith’s favorite place
bionicman97 Posted May 22, 2014 Author #107 Share Posted May 22, 2014 Once we made it through the Bistro, it didn’t take us long to get to Keith’s favorite spot on the ship, the Fisher Price playroom. He absolutely loved this area.
bionicman97 Posted May 22, 2014 Author #108 Share Posted May 22, 2014 The Fisher Price play area is much more impressive on the Oasis then it was on the Freedom or the Navigator. Keith played in here until around 1:15. After this, we went back to the room to unpack some of our stuff. Our Room was a Boardwalk balcony room. It ended up being a really nice location. Keith had a nice surprise from his Papa and Gamma when we got to the room Some more of the room View from our balcony to get an idea of where we were located Up next – more from the balcony

bionicman97 Posted May 22, 2014 Author #111 Share Posted May 22, 2014 We had two adjoining rooms on the boardwalk. My Aunt Pat was in the other room. We also used it for some storage. At 2pm, while Heather and Keith took a rest break, my Aunt Pat and I went for a look around the ship. Here are a few from that walk. bionicman97 Posted May 22, 2014 Author #125 Share Posted May 22, 2014 At 4:15pm, it was time to head to the muster drill. Our location was the main dining room. Didn’t bring a camera with me, but I did have my iPhone. After the muster drill, we started heading up towards the top of the ship for sail a way Up next – Sail-a-way
