Bringing Liquor other then Wine??

This is our preferred method :D A little more work, but worth it. Only we buy the shrink wrap seals and completely seal them back. DD takes one with liquor and I take a wine. DD and I still contribute to the cruiseline with beer and non-alcoholic beverage purchases. To each their own :p

The wine bottle is the best way. NEVER gets caught or a second glance. Port security isn't paid enough to really care as long as it isn't obvious. Just buy a bottle that has no wrapper around the top that way you can just replace the cork and not worry about sealing it again.

I 2nd Rum Runners, I use them every cruise. I end up buying a lot of drinks, getting free drinks from the casino as well as drinking what I brought on. Basically I am an alcoholic it seems.

Oh, yeah! We put it in our carry-ons and port security never takes a second glance at it. DH drinks bourbon so we put it in a green or brown wine bottle that holds a white wine. Can't tell the difference. We just add the foil shrink wrap seals for good measure instead of cutting it to make it look like one that is not sealed. letsdowinedotcom has 30 for $2.99. A lot cheaper than those bonvoyage bottles. They also sell different wine corkers, cheapest being $10.00, if you feel the need to use one of those instead of the hammer and other tools lol.

Thanks for the info but 65.00 for a 14.00 bottle of vodka is too much for the amount I will drink.

 

I always take a little in a few small bottles. Either miniature bottles of your favorite poison (I have 4 that I've saved and refilled several times) or small squeeze bottles from the W or CVS etc. Put them in your shaving kit or, for a lady, in your cosmetic bag and they look like your other small bottles of perfume, lotion, after shave, toothpaste...

 

I still buy a few from the bar at the pool or whatever, but I refuse to feel guilty for wanting a shot in my mini-bar Coke before bed and not wanting to pay $7 or $8 for it after walking half the length of the ship.
