Sailing Pride of America Oct 11-18, 2014...Planning Maui Wedding

Looking for help. Anyone have any experiences/tips/ recommendations/contacts to share re. wedding planning or Maui in general? We just want to do a simple Hawaiian ceremony on a budget. It won't be a large celebration, it may be even the 2 of us.

We plan to get married on the 1st day in port which will be on Maui, Tuesday 10/12/14. POA will be docked for 2 days. In fact, there is apparently a gay group sailing on POA & an Asian film festival (which is great because I am Filipina!) it would be great to have other "family" to celebrate with all week. Looking forward to hear from anybody out there:cool:

We are going too. We didn't book through the Pride of the Ocean website as although we'd like the opportunity to mix with other gay people we'd weren't so interested in being tied into everything. We're unsure as to whether Pride of the Ocean is taking over the whole ship or just a small group within thousands of others.
