Cash only for butler and concierge tips?

To be slightly more specific: Ask the Guest Services for a voucher to give the butler a gratuity. If they say they don't know what you are talking about, ask for them to ask someone else for assistance. The money will be included in your butler's/concierge's regular pay, but they do not pay taxes on it as their pay is not subject to the usual US payroll taxes. You can include one portion of the voucher in a thank you note (always handy to bring with you) you hand to them so they know it is coming.
