Emerald beach

WE are on the Carnival Glory next week and would like to go to Emerald Beach for a couple of hours. How far is it by Taxi and the cost....Thank you..

Are you going to be docking at Crown or Havensight. When we were on HAL we docked at Crown, which is the closest to Emerald Beach. The taxi ride a couple years ago was $4@ (don't remember if that was rt or @ way) and the ride was maybe 15 minutes.

From the carnival dock it is about 20 minutes or so. Taxi was $8 per person each way. There are many of the safari bus taxis that will wait to fill up before they leave. We always go for a regular taxi that will leave right away. The price is the same no matter which taxi or how many people. Prices are fixed and posted.

Lots of taxis waiting to take you back to the dock.

Chairs are about $7 each. There are palapas that are another $7 each. There is shade under trees as well. Nice bathrooms.

I stayed at Emerald Beach resort earlier this month for five days. It was $6 per person for a cab back and forth from the downtown area near the docks. Lovely beach and a great beach bar. Enjoy!
