parasailor Posted December 28, 2013 #1 Share Posted December 28, 2013 For a trip next week, I will appreciate any advice about choosing which of these places to visit a volcano and which to snorkel at, if I cannot do both. Or in both places is one activity much better? thanks
Daisyloo Posted December 28, 2013 #2 Share Posted December 28, 2013 For a trip next week, I will appreciate any advice about choosing which of these places to visit a volcano and which to snorkel at, if I cannot do both. Or in both places is one activity much better? thanks We were just in St. Lucia in mid December and did an excursion off the ship (HAL's Maasdam). It was a driving tour of the island- we were picked up in Castries at the cruise terminal and did a five hour tour that ended up in Soufriere- we went to the volcano- interesting. At the end we were dropped off at the pier in Soufriere and our ship met us there. Overall an enjoyable tour. I am not sure, but I don't think St. Kitts's has a volcano, so if that is what you want to see I think you have to do it in St Lucia. When we were in St Kitt's last cruise we did the sugar train excursion- interesting tour of the whole island. Not a snorkeller so can't give you any info that way. Have a nice cruise.
