jrs7306 Posted January 2, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 2, 2014 Have a MB cabin booked tried to upgrade to MA higher deck and was told I would lose my 200.00 obc because this was considered a new reservation and that promo has ended. Does that sound right? Really disappointed.
che5904 Posted January 2, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2014 (edited) Sounds like your your OBC was due to a time limited promotion. To my understanding this is correct. Once you make changes to your original reservation, the computer system cancels and rebooks your reservation. You can always try calling back and speaking to a supervisor to see if they will override it, but most don't have luck. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Ilovesailing Posted January 2, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 2, 2014 Unfortunately yes, it does become a new reservation. Not to sound flippant but when you booked the MB you were obviously happy with it, so stay with what you have and enjoy the $200 obc.
