gerry1.10 Posted January 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2014 Hi I understand the fireworks on the Breakaway is launched from the aft portside. Our balcony cabin is on Deck 12 midiship port side. Does anyone know if you can watch the fireworks from the balconies located in this location and its vicinity. Thanks gerry1.

You did not miss any part of the fireworks from being where you are with no aft view? thanks
Godiva830 Posted January 3, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 3, 2014 Great to hear! You did not miss any part of the fireworks from being where you are with no aft view? thanks It wasn't my plan to watch the fireworks from my balcony. My plan was to go to SpiceH2O. I was on the BA Bermuda cruise. The fireworks are Friday night, and we left Bermuda earlier that same day. I wound up seasick and that night. We were in our cabin and heard the fireworks so we watched from the balcony. I had a nice view and was glad I got to see the firework. I was more upset that I missed the 80's party and it was my bday and I was sick  I was looking forward to that party the whole cruise. We couldn't hear the music that they play along with the fireworks from the balcony but the view was great and a plus is no crowds on the balcony :p

By the way, could you not turn on the TV for the music? Edited January 3, 2014 by gerry1.

jakeT Posted January 14, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 14, 2014 The fireworks are shot sideways over the side of the ship. So nothing falls on the ship. Just ask the crew knows.
babygirl722 Posted January 22, 2014 #8 Share Posted January 22, 2014 We avoided the massive crowds at Spice/H20 and watched them outside of Cagney's on the Waterfront. Great spot for viewing. Shhhhh!

FEckeT Posted January 22, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 22, 2014 Can you see the fireworks from an aft (stern) balcony near the center but towards the starboard side of the ship?
Tiggertastic Posted January 22, 2014 #11 Share Posted January 22, 2014 we were told that the cabin on deck 16 port side was ideal to see them from and to avoid the crowd on h20 - then it rained and they cancelled the fireworks
Coastalbreezes Posted January 22, 2014 #12 Share Posted January 22, 2014 Just off the Breakaway in a deck 14 forward portside cabin. Watched the fireworks from my balcony and it was a perfect view. They only last a few minutes so watching them without being in a huge crowd worked for me. Tracy
