Thanks for the info! The Carnival website says that the Dominican Republic is tendered so that would mean La Romana...... but I hadn't seen anything about it here on the boards.

We docked in LaRomana when we were there in August.:confused:

My sentiments exactly. I wouldn't shed a tear if they got rid of LaRomana, Belize and Nassau.

We did stay over night in Aruba...unfortunately they canceled Curaco due to a tropical storm. There were quite a few casino employees hung over the next day since they all had the night off. :p Much rather would have had them cancel LaRomana instead, but oh well, ship happens. ;)

By adding La Romana had to leave GY very early (think 2 pm) and dont gete into Curacao until 2 pm.

 

Get rid of La Romana and we should be able to have full days at both those ports.

 

Otherwise known as addition by subtraction.

I was on the Breeze for the 12/21/13 cruise to these ports and we were docked pierside for each port. All ports were on time during our cruise, and people could get off about 30 minutes early than scheduled in both Curacao and Aruba.

Just off the Breeze and didn't get off the ship in La Romana. Would have loved longer in GT and Curacao.

Huh? I have never seen a ship docked starboard side in Aruba. The ship is always facing the Renaissance Hotel.

It's an 8 day Southern Caribbean out of Ft. Lauderdale and on the Freedom.

 

There was another one out of Miami, I believe, and on a different ship - but don't hold me to it. :)
