sgcass123 Posted January 3, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted January 3, 2014 Thanks for the info! The Carnival website says that the Dominican Republic is tendered so that would mean La Romana...... but I hadn't seen anything about it here on the boards. Rena921 Posted January 3, 2014 #8 Share Posted January 3, 2014 Awesome itinerary but wish they would lose la Romana. Screws up the times for the other three ports. My sentiments exactly. I wouldn't shed a tear if they got rid of LaRomana, Belize and Nassau.

I couldn't agree more...doing this itin for the first time in March and would have loved an overnight at Aruba instead:D. Have previously been to all of the others mentioned above. Still STOKED though;):)

Have previously been to all of the others mentioned above. Still STOKED though;):) We did stay over night in Aruba...unfortunately they canceled Curaco due to a tropical storm. There were quite a few casino employees hung over the next day since they all had the night off. :p Much rather would have had them cancel LaRomana instead, but oh well, ship happens. ;)
golfadj Posted January 3, 2014 #12 Share Posted January 3, 2014 By adding La Romana had to leave GY very early (think 2 pm) and dont gete into Curacao until 2 pm. Get rid of La Romana and we should be able to have full days at both those ports. Otherwise known as addition by subtraction.
lithlith Posted January 3, 2014 #13 Share Posted January 3, 2014 I was on the Breeze for the 12/21/13 cruise to these ports and we were docked pierside for each port. All ports were on time during our cruise, and people could get off about 30 minutes early than scheduled in both Curacao and Aruba.

mum2bradley Posted January 3, 2014 #16 Share Posted January 3, 2014 Just off the Breeze and didn't get off the ship in La Romana. Would have loved longer in GT and Curacao.
Topo Gigio Posted January 4, 2014 #17 Share Posted January 4, 2014 In Aruba we docked starboard. Huh? I have never seen a ship docked starboard side in Aruba. The ship is always facing the Renaissance Hotel.

sgcass123 Posted January 4, 2014 Author #21 Share Posted January 4, 2014 It's an 8 day Southern Caribbean out of Ft. Lauderdale and on the Freedom. There was another one out of Miami, I believe, and on a different ship - but don't hold me to it. :)
