How many bottles of booze is duty free...

from Mexico. We are cruising to Cozumel and Costa Maya next Feb. and want to know how many liters per person are duty free. Anyone have recent experience?

You can bring back more, but would have to pay duty.

Happy ks, thanks. I've already been to that site but it says "depending on the countries you have visited" and I know they have different rules for different countries but nowhere does it say specifically for Mexico, how many liters. I am sure when we went on our last cruise in 2003 (Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel) we were allowed 2 bottles per person but maybe that's because we went to more than just Mexico. I don't know. Guess we'll have to wait and see when we get onboard. And I hear that the duty is just a dollar or two per bottle anyway. No worries. :)
