bajalover Posted August 11, 2005 #26 Share Posted August 11, 2005 That wasn't you screaming when they got to close was it?? Just kidding! I got a kick out of the little boy who was about 3 snorkling for the first time. He was so cute!
Susky Posted August 12, 2005 #27 Share Posted August 12, 2005 Nah...not me! A couple of the teenage girls were a little squeaky about the experience, though... :)
lakerboy1 Posted August 14, 2005 #28 Share Posted August 14, 2005 Took Captian Marvin's tour. Great tour. We were lucky as Captain Marvin actually took our group. First his boat is fast. We passed all the other boats from the cruise ships. Second he makes 3 stops. First stop is for snorkeling. Second is the stingray encounter. Third snorkeling again by the reef. Here his assistant took squid and led our group to Morey Eels and Nurse Sharks. Boat was not overcrowded like the others at the sandbar for the Stingrays. We returned to the dock at 1pm and had time to explore Georgetown by foot before the Conquest left
CVL105 Posted August 16, 2005 #29 Share Posted August 16, 2005 Hi, We just got back from our cruise and we did the half day snorkel trip with Captain Marvin's. As everyone else has said, the boat was uncrowded and the snorkeling was great. Saw a baraccuda, a shark, and an eel, and some beautiful fish! Sting Ray city was fun for most, but I wasn't the biggest fan! I was one of those screaming girls that ran from them when they came near (even though they're harmless). Anyways, we had a great time and highly recommend Captain Marvins!!!!
