Got waitlisted room now its gone?

Has this ever happened? I booked a cruise last April, got a aft #9658 but wanted 1104 instead (Radiance class) so I waitlisted it. Turned the reservation over to a ta within the 60 day allowance. In the mean time Im checking in on "my trips" looking at "choice air" for flights & noticed that my original room #9658 was changed to #1104 and it stayed that way for 8 months.....until the other day when I was checking "choice air" for flights again, and my #1104 was gone!? It went back to the #9658 Yes I made 2 calls to rcl hoping to get the answer I wanted, but they said I never had it! I explained the situation and they still said u r in the same room #9658 and the room #1104 is still waitlisted. Then who changed the room # both times? Answer from them is call your travel agent she is the only one that can fix this. Yeah right!!!! I saw room # 1104 on my reservation # just like I have another cruise booked but already have #1104 from the get go. Has anyone had this happen?
