Billymac Posted January 8, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 8, 2014 Wife and I are both Platinum with NCL. We now get a dinner in Le Bistro. Could someone tell me if we each get a dinner for 2 or is it one dinner for 2 per stateroom?
gma_pat Posted January 8, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 8, 2014 Each will get a voucher for dinner for two. NICE!
gschwartz001 Posted January 8, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 8, 2014 It is one dinner for two with wine for each person that is platinum. The wine is from a selected menu. So if you are both platinum, you will receive 2 certificates each for a dinner for 2 at Le Bistro or another restaurant with a cover charge of equal or lessor amount. cod Posted January 8, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2014 You each get a dinner. It can be used at either LeBistro or whatever the Italian restaurant is named on the ship you are going on. The bottle of wine and small box of candy in your cabin is only one per cabin. And I think there was only one free bag of laundry per cabin too. (I have never used it but might if it were longer than a 7 night cruise). If I recall, someone said they paid the difference in price to change the, say, Italian to Cagney's. But I asked and was told no. Maybe some ships do and others don't? I don't know. Perhaps someone will read this and know whether it's possible or not. Oh, and you also get a free bottle of wine with each dinner, which is very nice. Once again there was a little difference in how that was done. One waiter gave us more choices of wine than the next did. We did not argue...free is free and both were good. You should have the wine, candy and a packet with notices of everything you get waiting for you when you get to your cabin. Have fun!

You can tell them not to open it and take to your room!
Demonyte Posted January 8, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) Both above answers are partially incorrect on one detail. The possibility to substitution depends on the ship - past year I've seen a voucher that states clearly in which restaurants it can be used (can be quite limited list) and a voucher that doesn't say anything but when asked, was valid on any restaurant with cover charge equal or less than Le Bistro's. EDIT: Boopsahoy got in between. :D Edited January 8, 2014 by Demonyte
