Celebrity Tour: 4x4 Island Safari and Harrisons Cave

Has anyone ever been on this tour? It is $99 and I was wondering if it was worth it.

Here is a description:Discover the real Barbados above and below, really! Board these specially designed 4x4 vehicles for a scenic drive to some of the more beautiful places. Then board an electric tram at Harrison Cave for an exciting one mile journey under ground through caverns of stalactites, stalagmites and fast flowing streams. Venture off-road through Joes River Forest and its towering trees as we descend onto the East Coast for some breathtaking scenery and where a second stop is made for Photo's. There is a 30 minute transfer by bus included on the tour.

Are the 4x4's hard to climb into. I am limited on how much my knee can bend. anything more the 8 inches high is difficult. Thank you

They are open trucks. We did tour a few years ago and it was fun. They have a step to get in. Basically it's a small pickup and you are sitting in the bed of truck on built in benches. (It is like the taxis on St. John if u have seen those. If u can climb steps us can get in.
