Boarding with baby and small child

I was just wondering if they still board people traveling with babies and small children before anyone else or if you have to wait with them in your assigned area? I thought we boarded early a few years ago but I can't remember. Anyone?

There's no written rule to this but it's been our experience that they put us through faster when we have an infant in a stroller. Also when getting off the ship they allow us on elevators instead of taking escalators.
