weliketocruise86 Posted January 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 12, 2014 How long before our flight departure time will we leave the ship ? Also are you allowed to leave and return to the ship on your final day onboard ? Thanks
BrianI Posted January 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 12, 2014 It will be about 3-4 hrs before departure but if the incoming flight is late, you will stay on the ship rather than wait at the airport. You can go out in the morning but be back on time Brian
ParCan Posted January 12, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 12, 2014 We did the Fairwell to Barbados Tour. We thought it was good value and lunch was very nice. (Beware of the hot sauce - it bites) You can get on and off the ship as usual.
HomelessBear Posted January 12, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 12, 2014 We left at 3.30pm for a 5.35pm flight and its about an hour to the airport depending on traffic.. Straight into the airport and we only had about 10 - 15 minutes before our flight was called for boarding. We then sat on the plane for about an hour and a half though while they refuelled and waited to be given clearance to leave. We took off an hour late. Its no problem to get off and on the ship on the last day. Have a great cruise.

C at Sea Posted January 13, 2014 #6 Share Posted January 13, 2014 You do ofcourse have to be out of your cabin by about 8/9am. But you can leave hand luggage in the theatre - they give you a ticket.
canny_cruiser Posted January 13, 2014 #7 Share Posted January 13, 2014 There is also the option to book a day cabin, which I found quite useful as you can shower & change just before leaving for the airport.

Do you know how much they charge for the day cabin ?
sammydo Posted January 13, 2014 #9 Share Posted January 13, 2014 From what I remember it was something like between £45 and £75 approx Obviously depending what grade of cabin you ask for, You can only have them between 10am -3pm. In December we were really lucky, the following cruise was not full, and our cabin steward allowed us to stay in ours until we left (at 1pm ) He made up the cabin, and left us extra towels so we could have a shower before leaving if we wanted....just a lovely cabin steward who looked after us, but definately unofficially, bless him !!!!! In the past we have once paid for a cabin for the last day, but personally I wouldn't bother in the Caribbean as we would rather sit out in the sun, or go for a wander, and by the time we had lunch before leaving, the time spent in the cabin is minimal....but of course it's nice to have the choice. Go with the flow Posted January 14, 2014 #10 Share Posted January 14, 2014 Hi We were on one of the first flights at 1620. If I recall correctly we were first off the ship and left around 12.15.
