What's happening in your embarkation port?

Recommended Posts

:) I know many folks like to seize "last minute specials" and save on their cruises -- but many people plan way in advance for their cruise.

They go to book their pre-cruise hotel (or post cruise for that matter) -- only to discover nothing is available -- or if it available the hotel is 20 miles away -- or costs a fortune -- all because XYZ competition/race/convention/event has been scheduled for the week their cruise begins -- or when they return to home port.

So perhaps it'd be a good idea to check your embarcation port's Chamber of Commerce --just to make sure nothing big is planned for your special dates - and book your hotel accordingly (and maybe a rental car too).
