Anyone cruised Fjords in sept?

I'm looking at Eclipse sailing 30th August around Fjords. Not sure if this is too late in the season and if May or June would be much better. Interested in hearing how you found the cruise if you did do this in sept. Thanks.

Yes we did the 31 August Fjords cruise 2013 on the Eclipse

 

Everything was open and we were glad we did not do the May/June ones as the locals were telling us that at some ports nobody got off the ship because of how deep the snow was as places had closed because of it - particularly Flam - i.e the railway was not running

 

In September we had a mixture of warm, cold and wet weather

We went on that cruise in 2013, around the same time. It was beautiful and the weather superb. We could still see some snow on the very tops of the mountains. Some of the waterfalls were not quite as robust at that time because much of the snow had melted, but that was a small price to pay for the lovely weather.
