Being from Buffalo, NY I will miss my wings while watching the Super Bowl.

 

I think charging me extra for "stadium style" food for what should an simple perk of sailing on RCCL during the game is RCCL just another way to get my money.

 

 

It is like charging me extra for turkey on a Thanksgiving day cruise. :mad:

What do you mean? What are you being charged extra for? The cruise?

I was on the Oasis a few years ago during the Super Bowl. All the food the had for the Super Bowl party was included, not an extra fee. It was a lot of fun!

They are charging $20 per person to attend a Super Bowl Party on board where they will be serving "Staduim Style" food along with a drink voucher.

Don't go to the Party! Choice is a wonderful thing.

 

The party is probably in the main theater or Studio 'B' (the ice rink). Every other TV in every venue on the ship will have the game on. Just watch the game someplace else.

I may be wrong, but you seem sort of angry, or sarcastic. :( If a friend talked to me like that, then we would not talk much.

A drink and food for 20 bucks doesnt sound bad, probably not going to get that at Buffalo Stadium.........

I agree with OP, $20 seems steep. Granted cheaper than on land but cruise is supposed to include food, with upcharges only for something significantly better or out of the ordinary.

 

Unfortunately these types of charges are creeping in. OTOH cruising is a lot cheaper in general than it was when I first started.

:confused: Not sure i even know what your talkin about. My last 6 of 7 (and my upcoming) cruises have all been on SB sunday and what your saying is all news to me. Have always watched the game pool side or in studio B where they put out a little spread of burgers, dogs, salads etc. We never ( or would i) pay anything extra for that.

Could this cruise be a Charter?????

I didn't read it that way at all. It appeared to me that he was simply remiding him that there are other venues to watch the game and he didn't have to pay the $20 if he didn't want to. It certainly didn't seem like any anger, maybe a little sarcasm but nohing too extreme IMHO.

By any chance is this $20 fee at the casino? If I am not mistaken the $20 also buys a square on a square board to win money on the Super Bowl. This may be what you are talking about. If you do not want to go to the casino many other venues will have the game on with free food.
