anandaindonesia Posted January 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 17, 2014 I wonder. Suppose after one or two days of cruising, we don't like our cabin. Can we pay to upgrade (assuming better category cabin is available)? If so, how to calculate the differences in fares? Michael via Tapatalk. sorry for typo. lanceholt Posted January 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 17, 2014 It's really best to ensure that you book the cabin you want initially. Many cruises are really very full and I imagine that would be difficult.
biker@sea Posted January 17, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 17, 2014 NCL tries very hard to sellout every ship . Very seldom are empty cabins available .
luddite Posted January 17, 2014 #4 Share Posted January 17, 2014 How many empty cabins do you imagine they sail with?
VideoTech Posted January 17, 2014 #5 Share Posted January 17, 2014 (edited) How many empty cabins do you imagine they sail with? Exactly Zero, if they're doing their job correctly! Seriously, though, I would imagine that any empty "upgrade" cabins just before sailing would be offered to those who might want them at that time (see all the stories about the "upgrade fairy"), and the result would be that the only empty cabins left would be those you would not consider an upgrade.
