aamechs2 Posted January 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2014 We are headed to the FP on a Princess cruise. My husband and I are both advanced divers but it has been 6 years since I dove. We really want to dive Tiputa Pass but I am worried that it may be to advanced after such a long layoff. (Prior to this we dove in Cozumel, the Great Barrier reef on a live aboard, Maui, etc) I have logged about 50 dives. Any advice? The fact that the dive shops don't seem to speak much English worries me too.
Laurie S. Posted January 19, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2014 I dove Tiputa Pass in 2011 with about 80 dives under my belt. It's very fast drift dive and we were at 103 feet. I would recommend getting a few dives in before attempting it, since you haven't been diving in awhile. And, it is an awesome dive!
