Sunshine & Breeze

Please tell me the main differences besides the size? We have been on the Breeze twice & we love it. We are thinking of changing it up a bit but I was wondering what the Sunshine doesn't have that the Breeze does. Thanks!

Sunshine has the Havana bar in the back to replace aft pool, larger serenity area, and JiJi Asian restaurant. We liked the Sunshine more than the Breeze. We did both in Europe

So it only has 1 pool? Is there a fee for the asian restaurant?

Yes 1 pool, 1 small pool in Senerity and the water park. Ji, Ji's is free for lunch and I think it's $12 for dinner.

 

We are trying the Breeze this time, we were on the Sunshine this summer. Lots of people on my cruise had been on both ships and all of them said they liked the Breeze better, so we are giving that one a whirl. We did enjoy the Sunshine, it was our first Carnival ship.

The Breeze has the Thrill Theatre and the Sunshine has the EA Sports Bar :-)

JiJi is well worth the $12 for dinner. I think we ate there like three times. Steakhouse is great as always (2 times there), and Cucina del Capitan was good as well.

I believe the Sunshine has the Alchemy Bar and the Breeze does not.

 

Our last two cruises were on Breeze and we are sailing on Sunshine 2/16/14. Can't wait!!

Unless you are in a new cabin on the Sunshine you won't have a mini-fridge, or I think a hair dryer or night stands in your cabin.
