Divina in the Caribbean -- Long gown for formal nights?

I want to wear a long gown for formal nights. I know that I don't have to, but I want to, and I don't have to worry about flights and baggage allowances. I'd just like to know whether I might be the only woman doing this?

No you won't be alone on 7 nighter - I wore a long gown on 7 night Poesia

 

plan to be more dressy the first formal night - that is also Captain party

and it is pretty elegant on MSC

 

the 2nd night is IMHO better food - lol...lobster tails

but may be slightly less dressy

 

The "americanization" of MSC does seem to allow less dressy attire but people still do dress up

We are on Divina in March and I am packing maxi dresses and cocktail dresses - it has been a fantastic excuse to go shopping (let's hope it all fits in the suitcase!!!)

By all means, bring a long gown, even a simple one. You will please so many others who appreciate a bit of class. Especially on MSC, even Caribbean sailings, you will look great!

We are on Divina in March. Wife will be long gown. I will be Tux. Don't care if we are the only two, but sounds like we will have company.

We will be sailing on the 8th & will wear longish black dress & D.H. will wear his tux. Looking forward to having a formal picture taken.
