If you had My Time Dining, how did it go. Service/food quaility

 

What did you think of food selection/quality in Windjammer. Did you eat dinner there?

We had 6pm reservations, so I can't help you there. The quality was okay but I'm a meat and potato girl, so I was not impressed with the selection.

 

What did you think of food selection/quality in Windjammer. Did you eat dinner there?

 

I walked up there one night, and seemed to like the selection was better up there. That's where the sushi was too, for those of you wondering. I'm not a sushi eater though. As for the lunch part, I wasn't impressed at all. Didn't feel like they had much of a selection, and it was the same everyday. Of course this is just my opinion.

Not bad at all. The lines look long, but go pretty fast.

Yes, we did the snorkling, and I wasn't impressed. I heard the zip lining and cave tubing were a blast.

We're just off the Liberty, Belize/Cozumel. In Belize we just did a little shopping. Had a few drinks and played on the net for a little while. I did pick up some Z packs...5 for 40 dollars.

I like the Windjammer, and thought the food was good. Plenty of options as well. I had a pre dinner there a couple of times, since we had the late dining.

Not a problem. We did the walk off and we're at the airport by 9.

We had My Time Dining on our 1/13/14 Liberty cruise and had such excellent service from Luz and Sally, that we arranged to have them for the rest of the cruise. They were wonderful to our entire family including our two grandkids.

I thought that the food in the MDR was quite good and was impressed when we took the galley tour with the Executive Chef. The one night that we dined in Chops the food and service were equally good.

What about St. Croix, St. Bart's or Grand Turk. We should have gone to Mexico or Belize. I do like stocking up on these things while on a cruise.

There was a piano player David? That was entertaining, funny, worth seeing

 

Also there was a guitar player one night but we didn't hear him

Doc is right about the antibiotics. Overuse of antibiotics is largely responsible for the antibiotic resistant super bugs that we are starting to see today.

One question: did you notice where the new smoking areas are located? We're on the eastbound TA, booked an aft balcony before the smoking policy change. No flaming please. We know smoking is bad.

And speaking of stupid, just how do you know what we are using them for? The next time my Dr. writes a prescription, I'm set, and at a fraction of the price my local pharmacy charges.

The smoking was on decks 11 and 4. The 11 is pretty poorly placed as it's right next to the jogging track. You can also smoke in the cigar lounge and the casino.

I am confused.. I thought the jogging track was is located on deck 12 not deck 11.. I was hoping we would be able to smoke on deck 11 somewhere and not be completely exposed to the wind like on deck 12.. Also are cigarettes allowed in the cigar lounge since the policy change?
