Surprisingly, it was an upgrade. Didn't cost me a dime! I just didn't think they did that any longer.

Woot woot! They're rare. We got ours over the summer on our way to the port. We had two cabins that went from interiors to balconies. We were glad we answered the phone.

I'd love to get an upgrade. I'm sailing in 9 days and I purchased a 4A (I think)...one of the single room with the porthole but it's just a twin (upper and lower). I got a great price but lately I've been thinking that I really don't want to sleep in a twin bed all week...lol. fingers crossed.

I'm assuming you mean an interior stateroom as opposed to a interior verandah since it would be kind of hard to have an interior with a verandah ;)
