OCA REP Posted January 26, 2014 #26 Share Posted January 26, 2014 Hi, glad you found music you enjoyed:).....but not sure I get yourlast line:eek:...not as bad as others would have you believe:confused: Bad is the operative word.....some of us are disappointed it is no longer offered.....I think it is just differing opinions....we all have likes and dislikes. You took it exactly as I meant it. We all do have differing opinions, and what remains after a cappela departs is not all that bad. ;) Those two female duo sets of girls was absolutely the worst we have ever heard anywhere. Horrid... just horrid!
Ex-Airbalancer Posted January 26, 2014 #27 Share Posted January 26, 2014 We did the westbound transatlantic on the Equinox and there was no a cappella group on board... and we did not miss them. The Equinox does have a superb guitar player/singer named Sean Golden, whose personality is just as great as his singing. There was also another group on board, Trio Sunrise, that we enjoyed at various locations around the ship. It's not really as bad as others would have you believe... I thought the music was very disappointed on the Equinox TA The two girls singing was a joke
ClaudiaB Posted January 26, 2014 #28 Share Posted January 26, 2014 Just off Equinox Jan. 10-20 cruise. Sean Golden, the guitar player, is excellent. There WAS a string trio, and the music at the Martini Bar was NOT loud like we've experienced in the past. We could actually hold conversations but the vibe was still fun and lively. Perfect mix, at least when we were there, and that was *maybe* fairly often ;-) We didn't hang out at the pool much or listen to the other bands. But no quartet singers.
