Snorkeling Instruction?

Does anyone know a snorkel tour/operator who gives instructions for first timer including a 10 year old?

Trilogy on Maui has an excellent reputation. Their Kaanapali snorkel is a good choice for beginner snorkellers.

Pretty much every trip we've been on has offered instruction, and some have even required it (meaning even the most experienced snorkelers were required to listen in on the training / briefing). I would specifically recommend the Pacific Whale Foundation tours to Molokini from Maui for new snorkelers - I was really impressed with that crew.
