Constellation stateroom C1-9201(aft)

If booking C1 cabins at the aft of the M-class ships we tend to prefer the lower decks because the balconies are bigger and the chance of noise from above is less. But we have also stayed in 9164 ( next door to your cabin) and found it nice and quiet. I think it depends on the itinerary - we were on a cruise where the deck and café above were often empty because of the cold weather. When we researched deck 9 cabins at the aft on Cruise Critic we sometimes found reports of some chair-scraping above in the mornings, music and some smoke in the evenings. On the other hand - C1 cabins are coveted and not always easy to book, so I'd take this one and change later, if another cabin should open up on one of the lower decks aft. And yes, the balconies are bigger. Some are even huge! One of the best features was the lack of wind-chill during our cruise to Antarctica - we had the sun on our balcony and no wind whatsoever - great to sit outside and watch the icebergs...

Thanks for info. We are going to keep that stateroom. We are doing a western carribean cruise so hopefully the weather will be good in March!

As for the noise above am sure it will not be much of an issue.....hopefully!
