Thanks for the all the compliments. Apparently I am not the only one who has issues with dress code not being enforced. Saw a Member review of the Valor that also addressed it.

I've seen only one person from my conquest cruise in '12 that wore sleeveless shirt throughout

Olcar: Most people do follow the rules. It's the 1 percent of people who don't who stand out. Saw a lot of people dressed appropriately in the MDR on the Valor and the Dream (2012).

 

Is it really that hard to put on some decent clothes for 90 minutes or 2 hours to enjoy a nice meal?

I enjoyed your review. I am looking at going on the Valor. Quick question though, aren't you glad they don't enforce the rules cuz otherwise you would have been drinking the ice tea instead of the soda. :D

Good point...I know I have read (maybe not in the Funtimes; that might be my problem) but the words in print that there is NO sharing of soda cards and just because you got away with smuggling your hard liquor on board and post your email address to tell others how to get around the RULES...you should feel great at pointing your fingers at others.:o

I appreciate your time in to do this useful review. I hope you are not deterred by the comments as I appreciate those who share their experiences.

 

When you purchased the soda in port did you have any trouble taking it on board? Were you able to openly just carry a six pack through security after an excursion? my hubby likes a bottled pepsi in the morning instead of coffee and usually on cruises it is fountain coke products.

 

were you able to get seats at punchliners with the late seating?
