scutia Posted January 29, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2014 Need feedback on taking train from Paris to LeHavre with luggage to catch our ship in LeHavre. Please include train station name in LeHavre as it is our understanding that it is not called the LeHavre station. Any and all feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Rare John Bull Posted January 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Known by everyone as Le Havre (your spelling is correct, I've frequently seen Le Harve on this forum), and Le Havre is the name shown on the SNCF (French railways) website. http://www.sncf.com/en/passengers But I have seen it called Le Havre-Graville. Your Paris departure station is Paris St Lazare, close to the centre. Direct trains broadly every hour, cost €18 - 25, journey time just over two hours. There are other services, with a change of train at Rouen. Port is a mile or so from the station, with luggage you'll probably want to take a taxi.
