molly5673 Posted January 30, 2014 #1 Share Posted January 30, 2014 I have read so many things about not going outside of the gated areas of Falmouth. We will be in Falmouth on our 20th anniversary and we were hoping to find a small church to renew our vowels. Should we nix that idea due to safety? And if not and you know of somewhere please let me know Sent from my iPhone using Forums mobile app
homeschoolmama Posted January 30, 2014 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2014 You do need a heads up, but if you find a church ahead if time, maybe the pastor or someone from the church would pick you up and drop you off. Be street wise to who is around you and try to be around other passengers, you should be ok to get a taxi. Congrats! Hope it works out for you Sent from my SCH-I915 using Forums mobile app
temple1 Posted January 30, 2014 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2014 We did a walking tour of Falmouth in December with Heritage tours and visited 2 local churches and walked past the Catholic church. William Knibb Baptist Church was the first church we visited - it would probably be your best bet and was rebuilt on a historic property. Look up the church and they may be able to help with logistics. It is within easy walking distance of the port, but I would recommend have someone to meet you at the port to walk or drive you to the church.
