We didn't take the tour, but have heard from others that it is just a representation of the process, set up for tourists. As for the rest of that operation, the beach restaurant etc, we were NOT impressed. Took 45 min to get 4 burgers and fries and they were not busy at all. Also the beach chairs were covered in mildew. Place in general was not very clean. We weren't impressed at all.

While we haven't taken the Mt Gay factory tour, I think it would be a better bet and if you just want the beach experience I'd look at other posts here or consider the Boatyard. The most recent post re them notwithstanding, there have been many positive posts about them over the past yr or so. Our experience was in Nov 04
