Explorer or Oasis 5 NT Cruise

I am Laura a long time reader of Cruisecritict.

 

Which one would be a better choice (AKA what would you do)? I have been on Mariner and Allure but never Explorer or Oasis. Both are 5 night cruises and ports are somewhat irrelevant to us and itineraries are similar. I know what to expect from the ships but I cannot decide still. I enjoyed Mariner and Allure both. I like Pt. Canaveral and Pt. Everglades.

Tough decision. Personally I'd lean towards Explorer because it leaves from Port Canaveral. However, Oasis is a fantastic ship.

 

Each have their own positives and negatives. I don't think you can go wrong. I can't pick a favorite between Voyager, Freedom, and Oasis class ships.

If you don't have a preference and you like them equal, I'd go on the ship that is closer to home. Or, if one price is cheaper than the other, pick the cheaper one.

Look at price and availability in your desired location for your desired category

I love Explorer, and have been on her several times, but given a choice, I would definitely prefer Oasis over Explorer. So much more to do and see.

If I had to travel to Fort Lauderdale, I would by bypass the 5 day on Oasis and go for 7 on Allure
