Where to leave luggage?

On Debarkation day our flight is not until 4:10 pm.

 

First, what time should we be at airport for?

 

Second, is there somewhere in Old San Juan that we can store our luggage while we tour on our own?

I have heard that the airport is under construction but not sure from when to when and your luggage will be checked before you leave through a scanner so i would be there between 1.30 and 2 hours before your flight leaves. I have heard about a restaurant called Barrochina and they let you leave your luggage for free. Many people here talk about having a drink and they are happy. It just seems like a walk to me.....

We have often left our bags at Barrachina. If your ship is docked downtown, walk over. $5 for all pieces that are safely stored in a back room. Easy to walk around San Juan from this location. There is a taxi drop off/pick up on the corner to get you back to the airport. It was probably only a 20 minute cab ride to the airport. Sometimes we eat/ drink at Barrachina, but most often we try other venues.
