Bring your own drinking cup.

Going on the Pearl in March. Does anyone know if your bring your own drinking cup (as in a tervis cup) if you can get refills at the buffet?

Not sure if NCL has a policy of pre staging drinks on a tray at the buffet to limit germs or not but I don't see why you couldn't take two or three of those drink glasses and fill your plastic tervis. I like to bring a spill proff insulated mug along from home and fill it with Iced tea or lemonade so I can sit bt the pool with it.

I usually bring a Tevis and fill it using their cups.

You can fill it at the buffet but not directly. You need to use on of NCLs sanitized glasses to Fil your cup.

And there are little signs next the the beverage dispensers that says "please use a new glass for refills". So yes you can refill yours BUT with a new clean glass...and if you put the clean against the edge of your cup to fill it, then use a new glass if you need to fill yours more.

 

I know it is obvious but how many of you have seen fellow cruisers in the public bathroom leave without washing hands :eek:

From my last experience on the Pearl,as compared to other ships that I have sailed on, NCL is the most concerned about germs and sanitation in their buffets. Including from what I have seen on pictures of the new Getaway, they have installed multiple hand washing stations at the entrances to the buffet.

That being said, I suspect that you would not be able to directly fill up your travel glass. Just fill up 3 or 4 of their glasses take them back to your table and ghen fill it up.
