Packing advice please re Boudicca NL Feb 6th

Just wondering as my v large case is already worryingly full with just the clothing/boots etc for the extreme cold and northern light search.

 

Are we able to store additional cases as think that we will have more than one each? Or do we just keep it in the cabin as I don't think that I will fit everything in one case..

 

Are there any perhaps additional clothes provided for the night NL tours?

 

Panicking as so much to squeeze in!

Hi

I'm sure I have read that the luggage allowance from UK ports is about 90Kg but for coach transfers each case must be no more than 20Kg for health and safety reasons so I would think that this will apply in general. I'm on this cruise too so will definitely have two pieces of luggage!!! Hope this helps, have you checked the website??

I can only comment that from our experience in suites, there is always enough room under the bed for our empty cases so we've never asked if there is an option to store them elsewhere.

 

For the other question, I wouldn't be expecting any additional clothing to be provided, I would bring everything you think you will need to stay warm given your planned activities.

My husband and I took five cases this year. Well he took one and four were mine! We were in an outside cabin on the Balmoral and stored the cases inside each other under the bed. No problem. In my view this is one of the bonuses of travelling from British ports.

Oh thank you all very much! We are 2 females and now have 3 cases in with enough for several weeks probably! What a challenge that was. Notto mention the shopping!! We are off today. Yourr replies really helped us.
