snorkelgrl88 Posted February 3, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 3, 2014 I was on the Breeze last year and absolutely loved the burritos they had on board at the Blue Iguana Cantina. I can't remember if I saw anyone do this, but have you seen or done this yourself...just gave the guys a bowl and got a burrito bowl, minus the tortilla? I'm thinking about doing this on my next cruise, and was just curious if it's been done by others before. and yes, I know I can get the burrito and eat everything but the tortilla, but I'm trying not to be too wasteful since I know enough food gets wasted every day. thanks for your help! :)
Green4me Posted February 3, 2014 #2 Share Posted February 3, 2014 I have seen that many times, both on the ship and at our local Chipolte take out. I love the Blue Cantina for breakfast too.
TheCalicoCat Posted February 3, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 3, 2014 No, but I can't wait to try out this venue on my next cruise.:) Thanks for the breakfast tip - I always add salsa to my eggs anyway.
Green4me Posted February 3, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 3, 2014 Most welcome, the key tip is don't wait in the burrito line, just walk up to the area on the far left. That is where they serve the quevos rancheros (sp) LOL on a plate over grilled potatos and veggies. Delicious Most folks don't relaize it is there. Have a great cruise
Green4me Posted February 3, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 3, 2014 Plus they do have an excellent salsa fixins bar that stands seperately between the two, lots of choices :)
KPfromCT Posted February 3, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 3, 2014 This is such a GREAT idea!!! Thanks!!!! I hate that they roll those things up tighter than Fort Knox, and then if you want to unroll it, to put salsa and fixings on it, you can never get the dang thing back they way they gave it t you:rolleyes::rolleyes: Thanks again!!! I am definitely going to do this on my next cruise!!!:D:D
