I may just be tired, but I no longer see the "search this forum" button on the individual sub-forums. What happened?

There is a "Search Cruise Critic" box at the top of the page where you can also do a search!:p

Just use Google. Add the term site:cruisecritic.com to your searches, and it will search cruise critic for you.

 

For example the search

Yabbut, I didn't want to search the whole of Cruise Critic - I just wanted to search the RCI forum.

The button may be gone but, there's a Search drop-down on the ribbon on top of the page.

In the Forum controls that start with "User CP" there is a Search link with a down arrow. It'll open a search window that will search the entire forums. If you click on the Advanced link when it opens, there are more search options, including the ability to search in specific CC forums.

 

It's pretty standard vBulletin functionality.

Try adding "Royal Caribbean International". It seems to primarily find items in the RCI forum. I have not done extensive testing on that, so YMMV.
