Fantasy: Has Taste replaced the Sushi place?

On the Fantasy, there was an evening sushi place near the casino (I think), has it been replaced by Taste ?

 

Can you still find free evening sushi somewhere ????????

Ugh I found this out on Ecstasy this past December. No more free sushi :( I'm not sure if this has switched yet on Fantasy, but on Ecstasy, no free sushi throughout the cruise except for the night in MDR that offers "a study in sushi"

Yes unfortunately the sushi spot is gone and replaced with the Tasting. Out of the 5 days they were only there 3 days and was not impressed with it.

I agree completely with the above. Their sushi was never great by land standards but I ate it everyday as an appetizer nonetheless. But the Taste Bar is a complete waste of space IMO. It certainly made me no more likely to try their surcharge menus.

 

Oh well you can't please everybody.

Waterloomarc, I also agree about the Taste Bar. They don't have surcharge menus onboard Fantasy class ships. They do have sushi sometimes on the Lido buffet but it smells "fishy":eek: Pink

Anything on the taste bar that is not sushi is fine with me so I guess that's one change that I'm good with.
