cmjfish Posted February 5, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2014 Just discovered pricing had dropped for our cruise in March. They upgraded us to a larger balcony room but it is at the back of the ship instead of mid ship. Has anyone been in cabin 9200 or even an aft room? Do you feel more movement here? We only stay in aft cabins because there is no wind less movement and quieter due to less traffic going by also like the 180 degree view.
New2cruise1483 Posted February 5, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2014 We enjoyed our aft cabin (9233) because of the huge views, it was quiet, and on the Dawn, the bakery is right below, and smells WONDERFUL whenever you step outside and take a deep breath :)
New2cruise1483 Posted February 5, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 5, 2014 And as I forgot to mention in my above post, the movement was more of a gentle swaying, and felt like we were rocked to sleep at night and slept great!

JuneauWhatIMean Posted February 5, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 5, 2014 Many people won't sail in anything but an aft cabin. Your views will be fabulous in Hawaii. It sounds to me like you hit the jackpot! Enjoy! :D
Ilovesailing Posted February 5, 2014 #7 Share Posted February 5, 2014 Great choice aft cabin, we have done this cruise three time and all b2b although on deck 8 aft. The greatness about the aft is u get 180 degree view all the time and its also great if u have lava flow as you will be able to see it, as well great viewing of the Napali Coast and no wind. Overall great cruise service and food. The only draw back is that POA cabins are smaller than their other ships but for two people its fine. The only thing I remember is the MDR aft.
