Mutumbojimbo Posted February 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Does anyone have any tips or suggestions about the Carnival Breeze? Can't wait to feel the breeze on the Carnival Breeze! ------------------ Carnival Fascination May 6- 10, 2013 It's a great ship, but I felt like there was so much going on that it was hard to get to everything. We really gravitated to the Ocean Plaza on Deck 5 lots of trivia and activities are there and we met a lot of great people. We also really enjoyed the pub quiz at the Red Frog Pub, it's held nightly at 8, we formed a team from our Roll Call. We enjoyed the breakfast at Blue Iguana Cafe and there was rarely a line and thought Guys Burgers were very good. I felt the size of the dining rooms made it harder on the waitstaff to interact but they were definitely trying to please. We had a great time and I'd live to go again as soon as we can. Enjoy your cruise! Sent using the Cruise Critic forums app
krash11554 Posted February 6, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2014 I went on the breeze last august. idk if butch is still the director but if he is youll have a great time!! The front of the ship was one of my favorite spots. especially at night. Of course the front is just like all ships but if you have time its a good spot. FlaMilkman Posted February 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted February 6, 2014 As a platinum cruiser with Carnival I can easily say that the Breeze deserves to be the flagship of the fleet. The interior more closely resembles a Celebrity ship than a Carnival one. The designers have corrected many of the issues of prior ships so that traffic flows well on-board, there are more things to do than you can possibly enjoy and our spa level cabin has spoiled us forever. 2bthereagain Posted February 6, 2014 #6 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Don't know if you are interested in a Cove balcony, as this is one of the 3 ships that have them. If so, there are certain ones to avoid - such as under the galley due to noise. There are 5 or 6 Coves on each side that do not have life boats over them. From reading this site, many people suggest booking those if you want sun on your balcony. I haven't been on the Breeze yet. I'm (not-so) patiently waiting for my June sailing! sjcruiser Posted February 6, 2014 #8 Share Posted February 6, 2014 Was on her in August and she's a great ship. Blue Iguana Cantina for breakfast, Guys Burgers or the Tandoor for lunch on regular days and Fat Jimmy's BBQ on sea days (get to Fat Jimmy's early as there's always a line). Ocean Plaza, the Lanai and Serenity is a great place to relax and watch the sea, read or take a nap, and Serenity is better due to no kids. If you want real peace and quiet, the Library Bar was hardly used on our cruise, and I don't think most of the passengers knew it existed!!!
