cappy09 Posted July 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2005 Has anyone heard of all you can stuff in a bag for a set fee special onboard any of RCCL ships?? Since there are no self serve laundry rooms onboard. No problem on 7 nt. cruise but 11 night can be a problem especially since the airlines put a weight restriction on checked luggage. PhoenixCruiser Posted July 20, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 20, 2005 No, they do not offer any specials. The prices are posted on their Website in the FAQ section. ###
alexkrn46 Posted July 20, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 20, 2005 No special offers, but the laundry service is great. And there is a closeline in the shower so you can wash things by hand.
Steve&Alisha Posted July 21, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 21, 2005 We did come across this offer on a different cruise line, but we did not see this offered on either of our RCCL cruises. Sorry. Alisha
Carol Anne Posted July 21, 2005 #5 Share Posted July 21, 2005 The laundry service is great. They actually do a better job than the cleaners I use here in Florida for about the same price. I had been cruising for years before I took advantage of this service. Now I just send down all the formal wear to be pressed as soon as I unpack. Also I've sent down shorts, slacks etc. that I had wanted to wear a second time while on the cruiseto be laundered Even if there was a laundry onboard I wouldn't use it. I'm a princess for the week and this princess doesn't do laundry while crusing!!!!
callow Posted July 21, 2005 #6 Share Posted July 21, 2005 On our recent Legend of the Seas Cruise in the Med (14 nights) we had a note that spoke about using a large bag and could include underwear, socks, shorts, t-shirts and swimwear. The price on this cruise was £20. We used the service. We told our tablemates about it and they didn't have one, they asked their cabin steward about it and he said he had never heard of it and wanted to know how we got ours. However the next day the note and bag turned up in their room. Perhaps they only have it on longer cruises. I know this was only just printed as this is the first RCI cruise to use £.
