Karencruiser43 Posted July 20, 2005 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2005 Anybody stayed at this hotel recently to give me some reviews? What is it near? Is their noise from the airport or any nearby late night clubs where noise could be a factor. How is the pool area? Are the rooms regular bedrooms or are they all suites? Thanks for any info. pkkraut Posted July 21, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2005 Stayed there in February. I think that the hotel is just fine, not sure if it is worth $200 a night but we are staying there using Hilton Points again in October. I was concerned that there would be a lot of airport noise, but did not hear a lot. The pool is nice and they have a lot of trees around that I believe helps keep the noise down. Be careful where your room is, there is a Casino in the hotel and some nights they have a band that plays (my aunt and uncle complained about the noise, but it did not bother us). The breakfast is good and the evening reception is very good (the line can be somewhat long, but they let you have two drinks at a time). They serve great pina coladas and they have a good selection of other beverages (but the glasses are pretty small). Have a great time.
Karencruiser43 Posted July 22, 2005 Author #3 Share Posted July 22, 2005 Thanks for the info. It seems most hotels in San Juan are around that price unless you want to stay at a Howard Johnson or something like that. Where there is no entertainment or bars or casino. I got this rate only because I have a group too. On expedia is $280 per night. Unbelievable.
