Gay cruisers on Oasis or Allure Aug/ Sept??

Im coming from Australia to do a US holiday from mid August to mid September and was thinking of going solo on Oasis or Allure. Wondering if many gay guys go on these ships or is it purely families?

We saw PLENTY of gay people on our cruise. With a ship as big as OASIS, I wouldn't worry. Its a great ship...our favorite cruise so far. Have fun!

Thanks for the info. Does it have a 'friends of dorothy' group? Ive always been to scared to go to one of those on a cruise ship fearing a group full of ole biker bears dressed like that guy from the village people:/

YES...they met in both VINTAGES and the CHAMPAGNE BAR. The "cruise compass" usually listed the time and location. There was also a bulletin board located at guest services on deck 5 with alternate meetings. Since we have "three strikes" against us (1. a couple 2. from the south 3. older) we don't go to them anymore...LOL.

We did Oasis in February 2013 and found there were very few gay men or lesbians, especially considering the size of the ship. Only one other couple showed up to the gathering. If you see people you think might be family, you'd better say something then because you may never see them again that week! :)

We (33 NLD + 53 USA) are cruising on the oasis mediteranean cruise 13-18 sept

Travilling with in-laws though but must agree on above, grindr/scruff/growlr before you go on the boat and you should meet up others

We sailed on the Allure during the first (infamous) Atlantis charter. We actually really enjoyed the ship and would totally go on either the Allure or the Oasis on a straight cruise. Just be aware that the timeframe you are talking about is hurricane season in the Atlantic. While you're not "likely" to be sailing at the same time a hurricane is blowing through, it IS possible. So keep that in mind as you are making your plans.
